Aether Bridging
Ervenian Era, 1051 AB
Aether Bridging is a process in which two remote locales are connected by a magical pathway, known as an aether bridge, along which transportation is possible at an accelerated speed.
Utility
Aside from allowing to bridge two spots without structural and architectural considerations, the speed of travel along an aether bridge is accelerated due to the influence of the Aether, allowing to cover 40 miles in a day.
Access & Availability
Due to the vast amount of resources, magic, and knowledge required to form an aether bridge, there are only three aether bridges as of the Ervenian Era, all of whom are in Amon-Thal and all of whom connect the two banks of the Tuinecelma River.
Complexity
The two locales must be within sight of each other; bridging over the Tuincelma, which can be as wide as 100 miles, required a large height difference between both ends in order for them to remain visible and not disappear beyond the horizon.
