The First Cycle

Unraveling the threads of history for Etaen, especially with a lack of documentation, is tricky. But every race's mythos, every legend told speaks of a being possessing ultimate power, called Thentiem.   From Thentiem, The Primevals spawned and were given rule of the entire universe known as The Great Beyond. For aeons they wandered aimlessly, figuring out the extent of their powers and cooperating with each other. In the end seven distinct worlds had been created and an era of prosperity came forth.

The Crimson Inundation's importance cannot be described in a few words. It's the event which marks the schism between The Primevals and the subsequent physical isolation of Etaen from the other worlds in The Great Beyond.
