Word Counts
The charts below have been generated from a google sheet, with the data manually entered by me from World Anvil word counts. I've categorised my content as either:-
- Completed Fiction - This includes articles and published completed manuscripts, where the manuscript is the only published format. I have not included alternative manuscript formats for the same stories, where I've created those, to avoid double counting.
- Incomplete Fiction - This includes work in progress, some of which is public but most of which is hidden in draft articles as I continue to work on it.
- Meta Text - These are the articles that just discuss the core creative work, providing alternative indexes to it, describing competition entries, providing a log of recent site changes or offering other types of commentary or analysis (such as this page itself, for example)
- World Building - Pure World Anvil world building articles which make up the vast majority of the articles on the site by number if not by world count. I am using calculated figures to derive this total by assuming everything that doesn't fall into one of the other three directly counted totals is World Building.
I include a chart for the Bubble alone and then a total one for all my world building in World Anvil across all worlds.
The charts are dynamic (not a static image) and so will be updated automatically whenever I update the underlying sheet, but that still relies on me, keeping it up to date and categorising content correctly. This is going to be sporadic to be fair. I'll just amend the date of my last update below.
