Khilgara
The Southwest most continent, middling in size among the three, Khilgara is a diverse and intermingled region. Not containing a nation comparable to Linthalia or Intransica that seeks global dominion or influence, it tends to be more self contained and it's peoples more introspective.
Geography
Khilgara has a higher number of mountain ranges, lakes, and rivers of the three continents, though none of them are as large or significant as those found elsewhere. The wide variety in elevations has created an equally diverse set of climates.
There are three key mountain ranges, the largest often referred to as the Traxian Ridge, creates a hot and largely inhospitable desert to the west, even with the coastline nearby as well. A smaller but taller set of mountains near the center of the continent, in what is now D'arcan, helps delay storms and weather patterns, building a number of rivers that feed into the coastlines, roughly resembling a spiral or wheel like formation.

Climate
Khilgara is notable for having the world's largest desert, traveling along it's western coastline. Along the eastern coastline and up to the center, one easily finds large, dramatic rainforests that descent into more temperate or decidious forests as temperatures cool more towards the south. Beyond the rainforests, one finds arid grasslands and savannas.
Fauna & Flora
With wider uninhabitable areas, wildlife can be found in great numbers and variety here, depending on location. It is thought that it contributes largely to the propensity for large game animals, that have been key to areas of local culture. The Stoneheart culinary tradition of a Kriia stems largely from this.
Tourism
Those who aspire to become wizards or to expand their magical aptitude often travel to lands of Khilgara. The Wizard Academy of D'arcan is widely thought to be the greatest magical school in the world, though the education is only available to citizens who prove themselves. The Academy of Ipsola, built on an ancient campus for battlemages, is a more open school that anyone with the coin may participate in, though it's quality has reduced dramatically from what it once was.
