Effect

An invisible barrier of magical force appears and protects the target. Choose one creature within range, other than yourself. Until the start of your next turn, the target creature gains a +5 Deflection bonus to AC, including against the triggering attack.
* - which you take when a creature other than yourself, within 30 feet of you is hit by an attack. ^ - Deflection bonuses do not stack with other Deflection bonuses, thus this spell does not stack with Shield, instead you simply take the higher of the two.
