Bestow Wounds
Effect
You are able to infuse your own blood as it leaves your body with that of another creature in range, binding your two life forces to heal your wounds while causing wounds upon the target. If you are below your Hit Point maximum you can cast this spell to touch a living creature within 5 feet. The target creature must make a Constitution saving throw; on failure the target suffers 1d10 + your Spellcasting ability modifier points of Necrotic damage, while you or a target of your choice within 5 feet of you heals for the damage dealt. If this healing would bring you or the target above their hit point maximum, any excess healing and damage is lost.
At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the damage this spell deals is increased by 1d10 for every slot level above 1st.
