Burned

When a person is burned by dragonflame, it does not do typical fire damage. Instead, it leaves the skin with a smooth, shiny, hardened surface that seems almost like glass. Individuals that are fully consumed by dragonfire often take on the appearance of glass statues, although it is rare that such people can be found.
Only 1 in 10 touched by the flames of a dragon actually survives at all, as the flames tend to be toxic even if they don't damage a person in such a way that the wounds would appear fatal. However, for those that survive, pieces of their body are forever lost to this shiny glass.
The glass can be broken, and it will remain after the body dies.
