Princess Clovis IX
Princess Clovis hails from the long line of servants to the Empire. Her father was a wealthy banker, and finance minister of the House of Flowers, while her mother was a notorious officer of the Grand Imperial Army. They met through a court matchmaker, who found Clovis' father from the constant churn in the Sundew Clique. His name was Franck Noallies, who was quiet charming to the mother of Clovis, Frieza Rose IV, a powerful duke and Castellan of the Imperial 2nd Legion.
Clovis herself followed in her mother's footsteps, but this time instead joining the Imperial Navy. She spent some time as a Major, commanding the Imperial Destroyer Viimne aeg. Once she left the Navy, she joined the imperial army, but instead joined the Imperial 14th Security Legion. Spending some time on Tochi, the young Clovis helped put down an uprising from local dockworkers. When her father passed, much of his wealth was passed down to Clovis, who returned home to Pagoda. She began to cultivate a base of power, using her natural charm (rumored to be a subtle psionic gift) to move between the various different political crowds with ease.
She is known to be likeable, and she is popular among the masses. No doubt a result of her extensive reforms to rebuilding the infrastructure to more rural systems. This is part of her wider vision for a revatilized Emerald Sea, which she sees as a stepping stone for the larger empire as a whole. She has pushed the House of Flowers into further and further debt, trying to help the Emperor hold the colonial entities in the mid rim. There is a growing resentment to her inclination to put more and more wealth of the Court into military expansion. Her supporters claim that their military is what keeps the other Houses in line.
