Phobos
One day, Phobos will tear apart into a million little shards, and shower over Mars in a storm of fire. Perhaps that is why Phobians have never been reknowned for their wisdom. They are a headstrong lot. The infamous University of Lagado is well known for harbouring pseudoscientists and dissidents alike.

Author's Notes
As a teenager I started working on a story where we were at war with our own moon. Earth had grown into an autocracitic ecumenopolis, a planet-wide city, and as they cracked down on their populance, the moon decided to take action. Which is to say I've always liked the idea of a rebel moon, so both Jupiter and Mars get to have one. The Lagado Planitia, the flatlands on Phobos, are named after the capital of Balnibari in Gulliver's Travels. In this capital is an Academy of Projectors, which is supposedly making fun of all the silly experiments scientists do. I haven't read it myself yet, and will likely want to before I flesh this moon out.
