Iphrium Suit
The Iphrium Suit is a skin-tight armor pressure suit woven from a special Iphrium thread created by The Brotherhood for their secretive Aconite militia. Each suit is made individually for the recruit who earns it, and it can grow or mold to their body over time due to the unique woven pattern and how it is molded to the individual's features.
The suit is comfortable and moves fluidly with the wearer but it instantly hardens on impact, absorbing energy and preventing harm from projectiles or blunt trauma. It is incredibly durable and heat resistant, and it is capable of being a pressure suit for both negative and positive pressures. When coupled with boots, gloves, and a sealing helmet, the suit can withstand deep sea pressure or the vacuum of space equally well, while providing enough insulation from extreme cold and heat to keep the wearer comfortable. Excess heat energy is converted to power, as is kinetic energy, and the suits are capable of transferring this power to onboard batteries to power weapons or AI cores.
The first Iphrium Suit was created for the Aconites in 2063, the year after the organization was created. The first suit to leave The Brotherhood was Astraya's suit when she fled the Victoria Aconitum in 2081. She retained ownership of the suit her entire life.
