Pillars of progress

The Usokufa, under their leader Fire Lord Mallius, have industrialised necromancy in their factories beneath The Gleaming City. Bodyservants are ubiquitous across the sun-ravaged lands of Shadowfire, used as menial labour and slaves for the living, and a lucrative and sometimes illicit trade in the dead.

Best world building article

This is still one of my favourite settlements I have created in Shadowfire. It is the epicentre of the Lords of Fire's empire and its structure makes minifest the heirarchy of worship and Tithe Binding that is their power.

History award

Shadowfire Epochs is the core timeline of my world. it runs from creation and the struggle for emncipation from the Elder Gods, through the various ages of conflict and ascendancy, The Destruction that transformed the world to the modern era.
