Veradis

Also known as "Sci-Guy", Veradis is a scientist and author who is well-known in the regular world. A lot of nerdy kids look up to him and a lot of adults follow his teachings. He is a professor who has spoken at several schools and has made so many profound speeches. He has also been credited to have discovered many scientific breakthroughs. He was scheduled to speak at the Nation's Capital for a summit. There, I believe he was going to reveal information that could possibly mean something good or something bad for some people in the world. For this reason, a group set out to kidnap him. I am unsure if this was a smart group who wanted to kidnap him because he was smart, or a naive group who wanted to kidnap him because they thought he was smart and could automatically do something they think is smart, like make a teleportation machine or something. Regardless, W.I.L.L.O.W.I.S.P. knew that people would be after him. The government claimed they would have some secret service agents on the case to protect him or something but WILLOWISP knew this would not be enough. As suspected, there was an attempted kidnapping while he was speaking at the capital. This is the event that Someone Elsewood was assigned to. Since it was too dangerous, or at least the organization suspected it would be, they paired Bruce Machete with the volatile agent because they believed the operation required some tactical know-how. They also believed that the wildcard that was Someone probably would not fare well alone. Unfortunately, Someone didn't listen and so he knocked out Machete and headed to the Capitol alone. There, he successfully acquired one of the assailant's helicopters but then when they got into the back with Veradis, they realized that Someone was not their driver. They then proceeded to threaten him and draw guns. Veradis prayed and begged for his life. In the end, the helicopter crashed but Someone dove out with Veradis before it exploded. Veradis was happy and thankful to Someone and wanted to know who this kind young man was. He thought he recognized him from the bookstore.
