Final Update

So, I didn't win, but it's all good! I didn't think I would anyways. If you would like to check out my award ceremony greenroom stream, here it is! I dressed up nice and fancy, poured a celebratory flute of sparkling juice, and toasted to the winners!

I was also honored to accept the raid from WorldAnvil's Twitch channel after their broadcast of the Award Ceremony had aired, and read 20th Itera's Most Feared Scholar, an article submitted WaWa by the lovely DreamCartographer!

Then, I raided the wonderful Strixxline who was one of the glorious winners of the event!

UPDATE!

The nominees were announced on Saturday, March 21, 2026, during WorldAnvil's Twitch stream! You can check out all the wonderful submissions from lots of wonderful Anvilites at this blog post.

As for me, I have (very surprisingly) been shortlisted in TWO categories...

Heart & Minds Award

my personal comments
This covers an in-world tradition of sending injured agents to a supposed 'safe haven' that caters to their hearts and possibly confuses their minds...

I didn't know where to put this at first, but I wanted to submit it somewhere. So I finally settled on it being here.

Best Worldbuilding Article

my personal comments
I submitted this article because it surprisingly won the Institutes of Learning challenge the year I created it, which was the first (and only) WorldAnvil challenge I ever won (so far, at least). This covers the eerieness of the organization paired with the slick, undercover spy vibes that make WI.L.L.O.W.I.S.P. W.I.L.L.O.W.I.S.P.

Since Best Worldbuilding Article is a major category, this entry cannot be voted for by the general public. Instead, it will be personally reviewed and judged by the award-winning author C.L. Clark.

Entering the WaWa!

This year, I am entering the World Anvil WorldBuilding Awards as always, but since the rules and situations have changed slightly, so have I. Honoring my tradition of Just Do Stuff even more so than in previous years, I am entering every single category possible. This includes the full-world submissions in Major Categories that I previously avoided due to the fact that I was unable to edit CSS, homepages, etc., and just because I didn't think that any of my full worlds were even worth submitting. This year, however, there are official judges (rather than simply peer voting), so I want to allow more eyes on my work. In all honesty, I don't expect anything I submit to actually win (or even place).

Last year was the closest I got. A map and a timeline made it to finals, but it truthfully feels that only happened since other entries were ineligible, which caused the top few to be selected on a default technicality. This occurrence also made things more difficult this year. While I appreciate my two nominations, this condition renders Full Story Timeline and Nellindill Mansion map ineligible for reentry. Because of this, I pushed myself to make a new timeline and a new map. I had been wanting to do both of these things, and I finally managed them, albeit haphazardly. They are not perfect. None of it is. But they are done enough to submit before the deadline.

I typically don't enter the Major Categories due to the fact that one cannot edit the CSS or homepage of one's world in order not to risk disqualification. BUT, since there are actual judges--big names in the industry--who will officiate these categories, I am going to devote myself to submitting all of them, to at least get eyes on my work. This will just cause me to have to take the whole month of March off from editing, but that will be well enough. I just need to focus on other tasks during that time, and I already made sure to sort out the homepage enough.
The only Major Category I have entered before for sure was Best Worldbuilding Article. I wasn't even sure which of my articles to submit for that one, but I guess I managed something. And the only Major Category I never qualified for was the Newcomer, but that's because I never entered a WaWa until I had already been around the site for quite some time.

As I mentioned earlier, the map of Nellindill Mansion and the Full Story Timeline cannot be submitted to individual categories due to the fact that they were considered officially nominated last year in the 5th World Anvil WorldBuilding Awards (even though, in all honesty, I believe the main reasons these things made it to the finals was because there were not many entries in these categories to begin with, and of the submissions, many did not actually adhere to the rules, so they were likely weeded out). Thankfully, however, Ondo clarified that they can be submitted under the Full World categories as supporting pages. So I managed to do that.

If you'd like, feel free to browse my entries below, along with little exerpts about why I chose each one...

Major Categories

Most Beautiful World
WordiWiki
Accompanying Suite
  • Handsome Co-Host
  • Talent Showcase
  • Unofficial Mapvember 2023
  • Unofficial Adventure April 2025

  • At first, I was going to switch this one with Wynsumheord, since you can't submit one world to more than one category. But I thought about it and saw that WordiWiki has more art from the community in it as a whole. Not to say that I use it for my own purposes, but even Co-Host's article has fanart from others on it. So I figured I would showcase others, and not seem like I am trying to claim all the beauty as my own. In the only-competing-against-myself fashion, I feel WordiWiki is the most beautiful of my worlds (if I had to choose).

    Best World

    Secret Agent Someone
    Accompanying Suite
  • Full Story Timeline
  • Pumilla Academia
  • Styrax Admission
  • Nellindill Mansion Map

  •   Obviously, I had to put Secret Agent Someone as the best world. I feel that, between my own worlds, it is the best. Most fleshed out. Most worked in. Most wordcount. Most articles. And it is my current project.I am glad I was able to put the Full Story Timeline as a supporting article because that timeline really exudes the entirety of what is WILLOWISP in story and lore. I also could place the Nellindill Mansion map as a resource. I feel that map is one of the more tangible things that gives the spy vibes map-wise so far in this world.

    Artist's Beautiful World
    Wynsumheord
    Accompanying Suite
  • Ceolwerac
  • Join the Mundbyrdians! (Primer)
  • Ailing Achaicus (rpg)
  • Map of Wynsumheord

  •   Since I did all the art in this world, I decided to make this the pick for Artist's Most Beautiful. I rendered some of it in Flowscape, but I also did a lot of direct drawing of characters, plants, animals, and more. I made sure to include pages that showcased this. I wanted to do more, of course, but I couldn't yet. It's okay. I did the thing. I submitted to all the categories! That's something I don't believe I have ever done. So that should be a good accomplishment.

    Best Worldbuilding Article Submission 2026

For the best article overall on WorldAnvil within the world of Secret Agent Someone.

I submitted this article because it surprisingly won the Institutes of Learning challenge the year I created it, which was the first (and only) WorldAnvil challenge I ever won (so far, at least). This covers the eerieness of the organization paired with the slick, undercover spy vibes that make W.I.L.L.O.W.I.S.P. W.I.L.L.O.W.I.S.P..

    Article Categories

    Heart & Minds Submission 2026

Intellectual, sociological, spiritual, or cultural accomplishments and traditions of a people within the world of Secret Agent Someone.

This covers an in-world tradition of sending injured agents to a supposed 'safe haven' that caters to their hearts and possibly confuses their minds...

I didn't know where to put this at first, but I wanted to submit it somewhere. So I finally settled on it being here.

    Rise of Nations Submission 2026

The histories and legacies of civilizations and peoples of the world of Secret Agent Someone.

This article covers human beings, the creatures who comprise nations and civilizations...

I wanted to touch up this article, but after staying up for like 72 hours and cashiering through the weekend, I only had the time to make the new map and timeline. I hope to expand the human article in the future. Right now, it's short and sweet and gets a laugh from some.

    Wondrous Nature Submission 2026

The natural world of Secret Agent Someone in all its glory; species, locations, materials, natural occurrences, and supernatural events.

This article covers plant extracts and the scientific usage thereof...
I wanted to find something recent, and this Summer Camp 2025 article was one of the "Kinda Polished" pieces. I planned to spruce it up, but...you know. It's fine! Better to submit something than nothing.

    Strength & Honor Submission 2026

Interactions in the world of Secret Agent Someone; diplomacy, war, trade, collaboration, and the people who drive or engineer them.

A detailed article that covers interactions and strange occurrences from the perspective of a mysterious character who is also trying to solve the mysteries around them...

I submitted this one last year as well. Yes, there are a couple of repeat entries. But I appreciate the new judging style and am giving it a try. We'll see what happens...

    Pillars of Progress Submission 2026

Technological breakthroughs, scientific accomplishments, and celebrations of creations developed in the world of Secret Agent Someone.

This article explores accomplishments and common misconceptions of in-world space travellers...

I wanted to add more to this article as well, but I suppose it did cover some truths all on its own, even though it was submitted under the Myth template.

    Myths & Legends Submission 2026

An aspect that is mythical or fictional within the construct of the world of Secret Agent Someone, even if based upon true events.

This article features a children's book written and read in-world that holds some significance to a character, regardless of the denial...

I started to replace this entry with Ice Cream in Space, but I figured I may as well give this a go again. It is actually fully fiction in the world., and it comes with the audio story .

    Non-Article Categories

    Time & Space Submission 2026

The best Chronicle created on World Anvil within the world of Secret Agent Someone.

I decided to bring back this atrocity. Since, technically, I do have a Chronicle, I can't say I don't have one. And if I have only one, that one is the best that I have. I thought I'd go through and make it better slightly but I didn't have time. I stayed up too late and am still up right now trying to finish this hub article. I was supposed to stream an hour ago, according to my new schedule, but things might have to kick into gear tomorrow.
    Someone Chronicle

    History Submission 2026

The best Timeline created on World Anvil within the world of Secret Agent Someone.

Since I submitted what I considered my best timeline last year, and it technically got nominated, it is now deemed ineligible ever to compete again. As I said, I am honored to be up there, but I can't help but feel a bit disappointed. Nevertheless, I thought about what else I could make a timeline of, so I decided to do the daunting task of figuring out the circumstances surrounding agent recruitment. Minimum of twenty entries, so this took a lot of research and thought.

    Cartography Submission 2026

The best Interactive Map created on World Anvil within the world of Secret Agent Someone.

I wanted to make a better map of something more interesting, but I already had Albitrunca. The Albitrunca- A One-Shot RPG Experience was supposed to come with a map in the first place, in order to play the game, but I used an external program so that I could move the playable characters' pieces around during the session. However, this map was good. The map needed thirty pins, and I figured that would be easy enough. I would just make sure that each of the sections had about four pins, and that was overestimating. Then, I copied some entries from Lowveld Log that documents findings and storages in Albitrunca. Then, of course, I had to make some cheeky remarks...

In the end, it shaped up to be okay. I wanted it to be better and have more layers and better things, but I was falling asleep while putting the map together. I was trying my best to edit it all. I hope I didn't miss a pin. It is supposed to have at least thirty pins with one hundred and twenty characters of description each. Plus, it is supposed to have at least two marker groups. In addition to this, the entire map itself is supposed to be described in at least fifty words. Let's see what happens...

    Albitrunca
Albitrunca is an underground base established by W.I.L.L.O.W.I.S.P. using various Formicidae Formations. Though some sections have been explored by common operatives, it is rumored that the expansive tunnel systems extend further than has been officially revealed by the organization.
There are also circulating theories that it is possible to get lost in the vast labyrinth. Other conditions, such as Maze Craze and boredom have been known to occur there. For this reason, anyone on duty in Albitrunca is advised not to work past the recommended shift. Operatives are also encouraged to take adequate breaks.
Some suspect that the tunnels are not entirely what they seem, positing that deeper, darker secrets are held within--including forbidden items, dangerous weaponry, and even prisoners. Many believe strange creatures are also housed within the confines of cells located throughout the underground facility. These suggestions have not been fully confirmed or denied by the company.
    Exploring Stewart's Room
Join Stewart Princely in his dorm room and explore his thoughts by clicking around to discover what he has to say about everything. As a Junior Sprout, Stewart stays at The Greenhouse multiple times during the year. Toggle through the map to visit at Spring Break and Winter Holiday.   May drawn digitally by me (Ossandra White/WordiGirl).

    Artist's Cartography Submission 2026

The best manually or digitally drawn Interactive Map on World Anvil within the world of Secret Agent Someone.

Aaaand, back to Stew's dorm we go. I wanted to make this one the regular one and then draw a bigger and better map for the Artist's section, but I had no time to do anything at all. I am super glad this was already done and I didn't have to do anything to it. Was there something I had noticed about it last year that I wanted to edit 'for next time'??? Probably. If so, I have no idea what it is now, and I don't need to know until after the judging period. There was so much going on and I am at the end of this article now. I should probably get myself something to eat before heading into more freelancing tasks. Thanks for taking the time to read through these! Sorry if they aren't coherent. A lot going on...
Nevertheless, I am at least pleased that I finally managed to enter Every. Single. Category. (besides Newcomer, of course) *insert praying hands*

    Snubbed Category

Despite my attempt to go all in and enter every category possible, there is always one that I will never be able to enter...

As an Anvilite of nearly SIX years, I do not qualify.
