Dancing Star Dianthus Anise (a.k.a. Diana, Danny)
Dianthus, better known by her stage name Diana, the Dancing Star, is a College of Dance Bard, and she is a belly dancer. She is bright and cheery with fans all over the world of Roviya who find joy and love in her performances. She is so beloved that the humans in power have not been able to arrest her for using magic during her shows.
Physical Description
Body Features
She has large, curled ram horns and a tail with spikes that ends in a spade shape.
Facial Features
She has a scar over her left eye that starts just above her eyebrow and ends just under her eye.
Identifying Characteristics
Her fully magenta eyes are her most striking feature; they even get stars in them when she performs.
Special abilities
She is a level 17 Bard College of Dance and a Tiefling, so she has magic, both arcane and innate, and has similar abilities to a monk.
Apparel & Accessories
She wears a black belly dancer outfit with silver stars on the top and the skirt, too. The top also has silver beads on the top and bottom ridges. She also wears silver star earrings and a necklace, and horn caps to match.

She has a pair of magical sandals that are very much like ballerina shoes; they give her a +1 to her AC.

Personal history
Dianthus was born during the War of Roses and Flame to two human parents, so she was scared of the hate she got, even from her own parents, even though it was not her fault she was born a Tiefling. Her father had an afair with a succubus, which led to some form of deal that Dianthus never learned the details of, but it was because of this deal that she was born the way she is. Her mother didn't believe she was her child, and this was before she learnt of the afair. Afterwards, she left Dianthus and never came back. A year later, her father was killed by the same succubus.
Dianthus was put into an orphanage where she was constantly picked on and then cast out because of her Tiefling heritage. She grew up on the streets, where she met a human woman, Viola Anise, who happened to be a monk and a war veteran. She adopted Dianthus and taught her how to defend herself, but also the art of dance. She also home-schooled her since she knew people and where their hearts were at. Dianthus became interested in the magic that she saw being used against the humans and wanted to learn it. So when she was old enough and ready, Viola helped her to go to Strixhaven to learn magic. This is where she learnt that she was not cut out to be a wizard but rather born to be a star on the stage and weave magic into her dancing.
The bard left in her second year when it all became too much for her. Viola tried to pick her spirits back up when she returned home, but it didn't help. It wasn't until Dianthus saw a Tiefling child, Dandelion, who reminded her of herself being beaten to death, that she realised that she couldn't stand by and watch. She saved the child with a mix of her magic and her kicks and brought her back to Viola. Luckily, she knew a druid who healed Dandelion back from the brink of death. Viola adopted the little Tiefling, and Dianthus got a little sibling.
They did have to leave their home city because of the use of magic, so they moved into the druid grove for a bit, but Dianthus became restless. She wanted to help people who were being thrown to the side by the humans who were taking control everywhere, and so her act was born. She watched the snake charmers in the grove and then turned it into a dance of her own. She quickly became popular in the grove and took the act to different surrounding places. She knew her little family would be safe in the grove, so she took her act on tour, being careful of her magic. Now she is the world's most beloved belly dancer, bringing joy and a little bit of magic to the world that could do with a bit of both.
Education
She got a basic education before she went to Strixhaven to learn magic. She didn't make it all the way through, but it did help her realise her love for dance and performance. Afterwards, she then learned her martial arts from her monk mentor.

She is a professional belly dancer performer.

Mental Trauma
Because she is a Tiefling, she grew up being hated for being a 'fiend spawn' even by her parents. Then later on, she became hated for her use of magic, but at least she chose this one.
