While Cloudcats thrive in their Elemental homeland, they are also found in mountainous regions where feral populations live among the clouds, occasionally appearing in low-lying areas when fog rolls in.
Among the well-to-do, owning a Cloudcat is a symbol of prestige, though such pets are rare due to the difficulty of capturing and maintaining them outside their natural environment. Despite their scarcity, nearly all children on these continents are familiar with the Cloudcat, thanks to their prominent role in a beloved children's song from Eoperax. As the Tatharian Empire has expanded, so too has the song, spreading the Cloudcat's whimsical image across seas, ensuring that this magical creature continues to be a fixture in the cultural imagination of young and old alike.
