An ore found only in the far north. Glossy, silvery.

Properties

Material Characteristics

Solid, glossy, silvery. Dully silver and iridescent in raw ore form, but smelted and purified into an alloy it has a natural reflective brilliance. It can never be quite polished to a mirror finish, and the reflections seen on a polished surface don't quite match its surroundings.

Physical & Chemical Properties

Uncomfortably warm to the touch in its raw state. Purified or alloyed, it's is extremely harmful to archbeast and human contact. It burns very painfully and sometimes sparks. Animals avoid being near old metal, and archbeasts and humans express discomfort in its presence. Greater purity and larger amounts causes slight emotional distress and long-term exposure has been known to induce psychosis.
