Initiative

Type 1

Initiative is determined by equipment.

  Initiative is determined by what each character has equipped. Each piece of equipment adds to the initiative score. Lower scores go earlier, and higher scores go later.  

Type 2

Initiative is determined by character stats.

  Initiative is determined by some combination of character stats. Higher scores go earlier, and lower scores go later.  

Type 3

Initiative is determined by planned action.

  Initiative is determined by the exact action to be performed. Lower scores go earlier, and higher scores go later.  

Type 4

Initiative is a hybrid system.

  Initiative is a combination of one or more of the above types.  

Type 4.1

Character stats + equipment.

  Initiative score is increased by higher stats and then modified by equipment. Higher scores go earlier, and lower scores go later.
