Stratum Model Explaination
Purpose
The SME is a miniature replica representing an overview of the Stratum Floors up to the 10th level. It goes into as much detail, with the most up-to-date information, on the perils of venturing into the stratumopshere.

Company Persuasion
Likely the first version people would see would be the center piece at the visitor center. Though they would know the floors as being dangerous places, a company-endorsed challenge rating made it seem less dangerous than rumours would suggest.| Mental Physical | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Abode (1) | Auberge (5) | Caves (8) | Dark World (6) | ||
| 2 | Chancery (4) | Pipeworks (2) | Wheatfields (10) | |||
| 3 | Suburbs (9) | Depth Pools (7) | ||||
| 4 | Powerhouse (3) | |||||
| 5 | ||||||
It was obvious. In actuality, it listed the floors the company knew the most about. Rather than any danger level.

Professional Opinion
This misleading perception frustrates veteran walkers and wanderers who have to rescue underprepared amateurs who fell for it. As such, some respond by posting their own ratings that better reflect the physical and mental fortitude needed to get through a solo excursion.| Mental Physical | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Abode (1) | ||||
| 2 | Suburbs (9) | ||||

| 4 | Depth Pools (7) | Auberge (5) | |||
| 5 | Dark World (6) | Wheatfields (10) | Caves (8) | Powerhouse (3) |
Even these are very subjective. There's an edition kept in the camp at Abode that puts Auberge in the safe zone. However, even an expert can be caught up in a perilous situation entirely by chance.Other versions are created by various experts assuming standards required for:
- a trip organised by Iodex or free company
- living in the floors for a long period of time

Danger Tourism
There is a sustained niche industry where travelers deliberately visit volatile locations for adrenaline, education or to simply visit forbidden places. Traversing up and down the mockery also allows these visitors to conveniently skip to the floor they would most like to explore.Term
Updates
There has been continuous debate and disagreements on the most effective and honest way to convey the degrees of mental and physical stress among the stratum hierarchy. Aside from the corporation; the freelance walkers commonly decided to move the "danger line" further to the right. This was the diagonal chart line, that existed since the original iteration. It highlighted any floor past it (even if abstractly) as being particularly unsafe, while not totally dissuading further exploration of well-treaded floors.| Mental Physical | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 |
