Caether The Ferryman
Caether the Ferryman is the shepherd of the dead, and of the change of seasons. He plies the River Ratha which separates this life from the next, taking souls where they need to go. Caether’s cult is small, devout, and dedicated to doing their Patron's work in the world. His red robed acolytes provide end of life care, including palliative medicine, setting affairs in order, giving last rites, preparing the dead for burial, or cremation, and comforting bereaved loved ones. Though not really worshiped outside of the monastic order, Caether is respected by all, even The King in the Abyss.

Holidays
Crux - The longest days of the year occur as summer dies and spring is born. As one sun sets, the other rises four times over. Crux takes place on these seemingly endless, golden days, when the veil between worlds is at its thinnest. Cultures across Nirn celebrate with feasting, and ceremonies to honor the dead. Pacts, and oaths made on Crux are widely thought to be auspicious, and as such it is generally considered to be the traditional date for things like coronations, and state marriages.
