Material Characteristics

This Primordial element manifests as a pristine hexagonal crystal of extraordinary clarity, sharply defined yet paradoxically ephemeral. While appearing solid, its form simultaneously shifts and flows subtly, embodying both a crystalline structure and an intangible, gaseous state. Its translucent surface pulses internally with radiant cyan hues, evoking the essence of elemental air and tempestuous storm. Intricately etched across its seemingly stable central face is a detailed circular glyph, adorned with graceful, swirling runes that shimmer and ripple continuously, suggesting perpetual motion akin to flowing winds. At the very heart of this glyph lies a luminous triangular emblem enclosing a smaller, radiant circle, symbolizing its primordial power and intrinsic connection to the Aspect of Air. The gemstone’s ethereal luminance and ever-shifting solidity convey an unmistakable aura of boundless aerial energy, clearly marking it as a potent manifestation of its respective Aspect.

Physical & Chemical Properties

Aerite’s physical characteristics can best be described as uniquely paradoxical. While it visibly appears as a solid gemstone, its structure simultaneously displays properties typical of a gaseous substance. Although clearly crystalline in form, Aerite feels impossibly wispy and intangible when grasped, as if holding onto condensed mist or captured wind. Intriguingly, within its translucent, membrane-like crystalline exterior, it contains all commonly found gaseous elements—oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen, helium, and more—interwoven seamlessly and existing simultaneously, yet never dispersing or mixing fully. Moreover, the gemstone periodically emits subtle pulses of electric-like energy, delivering gentle yet unmistakable jolts to anyone who holds it, further emphasizing its enigmatic nature as an elemental paradox, suspended delicately between solid crystal and gaseous air.

Compounds

While it was initially assumed that Aerite could not readily combine with other elements due to its primordial properties, recent breakthroughs by Aurora Ai have demonstrated otherwise. Her research has shown that, much like other Primordial elements, Aerite can indeed be merged with the enigmatic Myridium This fusion yields a significantly enhanced Primordium variant now designated as Aerorium—an advanced Primordium compound exhibiting properties that have yet to be fully explored.

Geology & Geography

Like the other Lost Primordial elements, Aerite does not naturally occur within the Material Plane and cannot be discovered or extracted through ordinary means. Its presence within the Material Plane relies entirely upon Aurora Ai’s specialized Primordial fabrication process. Aurora theorizes, however, that Aerite—alongside other Primordial Elements—might naturally manifest within Aura’s Domain, the Celestial realm overseen by Aura, the Celestial of Air. While this hypothesis has yet to be conclusively verified, the notion that Aerite inherently exists within the atmospheric depths of Aura’s personal domain, and that other Primordial elements could similarly reside naturally within their respective Celestial Domains, remains an intriguing and active area of research.
