Tree Speak

General


Tree Speak is the language of the forests, most common tree spirits will only know this language. This language was discovered by man in ~1170 BCE when The Circle of the Glade first woke the Dra'cha of Feora Forest. The intonation is harsh and slow with no written association. Spoken words have been transcribed into the closest translation in common tongue.

the symbol (') in the written language is the written equivelent of drawing out a breath which is very common with the pacing of the language.

Darkness - Drie'

Light - Sa'fiel'

You - Sh'el'

I - Ag'Ma

To come - Tha'ku'mah

To leave - Orh'den

Grow - Tu'meith'


Common Phrases

Greetings - Tha'ku'mah

Farewell - Sh'el'orh'den or Ag'Maorh'den

Sunrise - Sa'fiel'Tu'meith' or Sa'fiel'Tha'ku'mah

Sunset - Drie'Tu'Meith' or Drie'Tha'ku'mah

Grand Counsel - Dra'cha or Ag'maDra'cha when speaking of a Grand Counsel spirit that is your speaker.

The language is made of many phrases that are often combined to create new phrases.

Tha'ku'mah being a greeting is also to come and wind is Thie'nuh. To say the wind is coming one would say Thei'nuhTha'ku'mah
