Naming Traditions

The term "palatak" will, by Greston Paltraki's time, become a surname designating families who have at least one ancestor from off-world.

Culture and Cultural Heritage

Stebblians are best known for their breads. Each region and cultural group has a signature loaf, and it is said that one can tell where on Stebble someone is from by the type of loaf they prepare. (This reputation is so entrenched that Saeh'han sought out Stebblian bread specifically when he realized his human patient Ta'zhen could not live on fatty meats alone.)

Historical Figures

In 5906, Greston Paltraki becomes a hero for his contributions to the mission that ultimately neutralized Tzim-Sha as a threat (although when asked, he will say he had a great deal of help, and that he was doing his duty).

Interspecies Relations and Assumptions

In 2499, Stebblian relations with the wider Nine Systems are fairly stable. They pay their dues in food exports, and the Stenza seem to be leaving them alone by consequence (helped, no doubt, by Ta'zhen's need for such food as a human outsider with dietary needs the Stenza cannot accommodate on their own).
