Morkeleth
Morkeleth is a prodigy of draconic malice. While most wyrmlings are driven by instinct and hunger, Morkeleth possesses a cold, analytical mind that far outstrips his physical years. He has spent his short life watching the "Two-Legs" from the ridges, learning the nuances of their greed, their politics, and their weaknesses.
Physical Description
Identifying Characteristics
His scales are the color of a stagnant forest pool—deep, dark green with iridescent flecks that shimmer like oil on water. He is sleeker than most green dragons, built for navigating the narrow, jagged crevices of the Kobold Hills rather than the open sky.
Unlike a pampered or trained dragon, Morkeleth bears the scars of his environment. A notched ear and several jagged scratches along his flank tell the story of his battles with the more aggressive Kobold tribes and the harsh elements.
His eyes are a piercing, intelligent gold. When he speaks, he does not hiss like a beast; he speaks with a slow, deliberate cadence that is unsettlingly human.
Mental characteristics
Intellectual Characteristics
Morkeleth is a master of "The Long Game." He understands that he is currently too small to take on the larger opponents in a direct fight, so he uses information as his primary weapon.
He never forgets a slight. If a South Wind guard throws a stone at a "lizard" in the brush, Morkeleth will track that guard’s schedule for weeks just to ensure the man’s next patrol ends in a "tragic" fall into a poison-thistle patch.
Social
Social Aptitude
Morkeleth has "domesticated" several local tribes. He doesn't demand worship so much as he demands utility. They are his eyes, ears, and—when necessary—his distractions.
