Melsuine Primus

A medium sized habitable planet, about Terra standard in size. It is almost equal parts land and ocean, with almost all of its land as part of a Pangaea like supercontinent. It is the closest planet to the local star which is habitable in the Melsuine System notable for its three moons. The whole system gets its name from this planet.

Geography

The vast majority of the worlds supercontinent is covered in heavy evergreen forests of a rare tree species that require little light. Swamplands and rivers are very common due to the world's overabundance of aquifers. Numerous mountain chains isolate large sections of the world and force much of the population to the coasts.

Natural Resources

It is one of the few places in the universe that has the very delicate environmental balance to grow the plant that is processed into "rejuvenat". It grows to such the degree it is considered a local weed to be disposed of, much to the dismay of Imperial authorities.
