Ana'kyrie

On the world of Melsuine some call them daemons, some call them spirits, some think them daemons. It is species that currently perplexes the Magos Biologists in service to the Inquisition. The creature seems to occur as a mutation or a change in humans that can be brought on from contact with one of their kind.

Basic Information

Anatomy

They seem to be human in every other sense outwardly, though have a pair of fleshy wings that are stored into their body.

Genetics and Reproduction

Mythological records of this xenos seem to indicate that it bite into a victim for sustainance but can infect the victim with some ammount of its DNA, forcing the human's DNA to begin to rewite itself. There is speculation that this is partily a psychic process. What would happen if a non human xenos species were used is currently unknown.

Ecology and Habitats

Moist areas with large numbers of prey, preferably human, with very little sunlight.

Dietary Needs and Habits

It seems to be able to keep its dietary habits as of its pre-transformation Terran life. It does, however, requires dietary supplements of iron far more than the average human.

Civilization and Culture

History

First arrived in the world of Melsuine sometimes around M30 when the world was in turmoil. However it was not till the death of Maria Veleanor that her love Antony would attempt to make contact with these creatures in order to save his dying love. While this plan would work it would have rather disastrous consequences for much of the world.
It is known that Antony and six others would spend their remaining years trying to cage the beasts that they had freed. Thirteen of these creatures were to be hunted with a total of fourteen powerful Ana'kyrie in the end locked away, with an endless number of them having been slain.
Now one of these creatures once again freed from his horrid prison has been distributing impeiral compliance and integration forces. This is known as Erin Von Holts the First, known as the traitor as he had been one of the original seven that hunted the original beasts.
