"It is here where we erected these walls that the Five Great Heroes and the united clans defeated their common foe. That is why even with all the conflicts since, this place, Tikazan, has remained a place of peace where the clans can work out their differences, trade, share stories, and eat together."— Chief Akira
A Land Crushed
When the
Five Great Heroes defeated the
giant, its body created the fertile valley known as
Shavat Tur. When it fell, it crushed the camp where the combined forces of the clans were gathered - the site itself, the inhabitants were not lazing in their tents, they were busy fighting the
giant.
On the site of their destroyed camp the clans gathered and celebrated their victory. They shared stories, sang, and ate - mostly the flesh of their defeated foe. This perhaps more than anything else is what cemented the relationship between the clans. While they would fall to squabbles as the years, decades, and centuries passed, this moment would never be forgotten.
A City of None and for All
There are no permanent residents of Tikazan but all are welcome there. There is to be no violence in Tikazan - between
lizardfolk anyways, if the crew of the
Harani had been accompanied by any but the chief of
Clan Rakrantra it may have devolved to bloodshed.
The city is surrounded by large wooden walls, each log carved with part of the grand story of the history of
Kestatol.
