Into 2026!
Geez, what a year.
With over 207 thousand words written so far in Levis, we are just trucking along. We hit a year in this world in September. Hosted 2! challenges (which we hope to repeat) - Dip a Toe in and Whiskey and Wildflowers. And I am/have judging the Character category of WorldEmber. Go team.
Art exploded this year, as did music and CSS and so the unofficial group of folk I'd like to call the extended team of Levis grew and grew. I got several brainstorming moments with friends (you'll see the occasional inspired by or cowritten with when that happens), and I even got gifted a wooden book box for when I get the short stories bound.
Needless to say the 2025 goals of '25k in the year' and 'keep trucking on' were followed.
I completed 1 BlueFairy challenge, am likely to fail another (my bane, organisation), and won another challenge with Rebirth. If I'm forgetting something this year, its because its been a year - including a house move.
What do I want from 2026? 10k words a month and a little silence :P Can this year be quieter?

Rethzel has been wonderful, anwhile we started by being inspired by Tharak, Nanref provides a healthy echo to the kind of god Luix is going to become over time, and a reminder to keep both the edge and the gentleness of the shadows.
Inspiration here comes from the idea of after effects, taking and reinforcing the immediate twisting of the idea into the cultural zeitgeist. In the case of Luix, it was twisting the previously mentioned Lux as black and turning it into the name of this god of secrets.
Demongrey is a community staple for a reason (and also Levis' biggest fan) and llif reminds me to add hidden complexities - both to fill in later, and to bring character to the divine.
While the text of Cormaq is more an inspiration to Olari, the article is another reminder to play with the presentation of articles, like I am with the tables here.
Syn by Reason shows a god of ages, that even divinity is not a monolith and that the 'character' of the gods can evolve over time.
