It's been about three months since our transmitter failed. It was the only thing keeping us in contact with the people in our present timeline. So currently, we're stuck 140 million years in the past, on a planet called Earth.
We prepared for the worst a long time ago... but it never came. We seem to keep cheating death with every dinosaur attack, infection, or saurian that keeps threatening to chop our heads off.
Our mission is to collect data on saurians. Well, that's Aipo's mission. Mine is to study local wildlife. Together we were assembling all the notes and sketches we could gather on this prehistoric era, to send back to the Sophontic Data Centre, the company we both work for. They promised us their newfangled time travel device was functional... clearly it wasn't.
If you find these notes, we're probably dead, just saying. We have no idea if they're working on bringing us back, or if they abandoned us weeks ago. But we'll continue to gather data, since we seem to be coping just fine. Maybe they'll give us a raise when we come back with stacks of notes!
