Cultural Significance
Wide-ranging and strong in numbers, Underworld Boar have been known to form large herds. Their meat is harvested for consumption, although it is said to be an acquired taste. Though much rarer nowadays compared to the haydays, much like their earthen counterparts. . .perhaps its best to leave them be.Large, wild boars with a immensely foul temper's, in much of Korean mythology and folklore, the wild boar (and the domestic pig) is a deeply auspicious symbol of wealth, fertility, good fortune, and agriculture. This is often because in Korean, the words for "pig" and "money" both sound like don. This linguistic coincidence has long since made pigs synonymous with wealth and good fortune. While ancient myths frequently revere it as a sacred animal of the gods, folktales often portray the boar as a harbinger of destiny or a guardian against bad luck. Cultures throughout Europe and Asia Minor also saw the killing of a boar as proof of one's valor and strength, due to the cunning and ruthlessness adult boars, especially males often had to offer when cornered. In Korean culture, the wild boar (metdwaeji) is a complex symbol of courage, raw power, and the untamed wilderness. While culturally unified under the overarching symbolism of the Pig (which signifies wealth and good fortune), the wild boar often represents the more primal, aggressive, and ecological aspects of the species.
In Game Information: Lesser Boar Lore
Despite being symbols of good luck and prosperity, the boars and wild pigs that inhabit the various regions of the Underworld are more or less not so different from their Earthen brethren. These ornery swine are highly adaptable creatures, and it is due to this adaptability that while they are not as prominent as they once were throughout the lands, that they still hold-strong where they can and are known to occupy and inhabit a variety of subregions. One of the few last remaining food-sources still adapting to the change of the underworld, the meat of a Boar is often eaten, though is tough and said to be an acquired taste. They are also a quite reliable source of crafting resources like Lumps of Fat or Hefty Beast Bones along with their Blood and Fur.Moveset

Years of Pain and forced compliance have long turned this hog and all others like it into right nasty pieces of work. You'd almost feel sorry for it, if not for the tusks pointed your way.The wild boar represents courage, virility, and the untamable forces of nature. The animal’s ferocity is often admired, and is also often used as a symbol of power and authority. Yet despite their importance, not all treat the hogs who roam the lands of the Underworld with the respect that they deserve. Because of their thick skin, ill temper and long, razor-sharp tusks, boars are often incredibly difficult to capture. But once they are, some do not find themselves thrown onto a spit, but instead into the Coliseum. Loyalist Cheondung The Gladiator, is well and truly famous for the fights that he hosts within the grounds of his Circus; the large gladiatorial-style arena where Demons are often made to fight each other as a form of entertainment for the masses, as his Champions. However, it should come of no surprise that the Demon who loved to throw his weight around, would also seemingly have an odd-sort of admiration for the aggressive Wild Hog, which had resulted throughout the years in him including them into his circus. These animals were often exhibited to symbolize the vast power and extent of the Loyalist's claim, but also the wealth and status of Demon Lord Gwi-ma, who would often supply the Demon with Boars from his vast swaths of privately owned land. However, while many boars were killed in the ring, there often came a time when one Boar in particular would catch Cheondung's fancy, and receive "special-treatment" Armored Battleboar also known as Rusttusks due to the sands of the arena giving their tusks a reddish "rust-color", are massive, imposing oversized boar, plated almost entirely in steel armor. Taken from the wilds due to their Immensive size and already aggressive nature, they have become Cheondung's most prized possessions, even though they have long been abused beyond any hope of recovery. While Cheondung had originally intended to keep the animals and use them to purpose-breed for the arena, attempts were greatly unsuccessful. Instead he kept what was left of his original herd as pets to flaunt.
