True Races

The True Races are those nine-and-nine races chosen by the Gods and blessed with self-awareness. Nine races exist, divided equally among Good and Evil, one for each god, one for each good and evil, and one for each night and day. Which race is which is unclear, and the gods do not look kindly upon speculation. However, it is clear that each race corresponds to an opposite, to which they have some degree of commonality. It is, often enough, these two races which are most often cast against in each other in the War.  The various True Races are sometimes collectively referred to as 'Man'
