Thornspire
The City of Guards and the capital of the Rurean kingdom is built like a fortress, with tall walls and towers encircling each district. The highest spire of Rurean Keep is towering tall in its center. On clear days, people say, one can see all the way to the coast to the east.
Government
The king of Rurean is merely a figurehead for apearances, being skillfully puppeteered by the executive order.
The city is being run and ruled by the guards, their captain havign the most influence and pull. The guards are aware of how much power they have and do not hold back, showing everyone who need to know or think need a little reminder...
Defences
Every district is encycled by tall, fortified walls and guard towers. The city has one of the biggest guard divisions, keeping the districts safe (from everything but the guards).
Industry & Trade
Woodworking and blacksmithing are the two pillars of the region and the city specifically, refining ores and wood provided by the settlements of the kingdom. Armor, Weapons, especially siege weaponry poses one of the most valuable export products.
