Starlight Reach

A sea of immortal ice stretches far and wide on this plateau of a landscape. Due to its altitude it is a region of endless winter with regular snow storms and blizzards rushing over it. 

The steep cliffs building the borders of the region are plastered with frost covered crevices and caves, reaching deep into the rocks below, hiding mysteries and treasure within that have yet to be unearthed. 

To survive the unpleasant cold, one must be very resilient or skillful or be blessed by a spirit of ice or fire who seem to be more common in theses parts of Mithrend. 

Spiritdrift Lake at the top of Spiritdrift Falls, located at the south border of the Starlight Reach is covered in eternal Ice and is known to have the most concentrated spirit energy in all Mithrend.

Tales of old talk about the lake being the heart of Mithrend and the source of the strong connection to spirits on the continent.
