Eldritch Swamp

No one knows the horrors that can lurk in the shadows of this swamp. The leafless trees in this swamp seem to ache and moan in pain, strange voices and lights try to beckon you off the path. Not many lived to tell the tale where they are leading. There is always the vibration of magic in the air. Some who dared to travel the swamp are convinced it changes the surroundings... Or maybe it is the vapours of the water?

It is not advised to drink the brackish, acidic waters of the swamp, as it might turn you into something else… something beyond recognition. If the area is inhabitable, it can only be by otherworldly creatures.
