Mithril Dragonkin
Descendants of Mithril Dragons
Mithril Dragonkin are the descendants of one of the Elder Races and a Mithril Dragon. They have mythical traits that lend themselves to the pursuit of enlightenment, and, like Mithril Dragons, they can recover their strength and stamina quickly. It is not uncommon to find them tucked away in some corner of an academy or library, searching for whatever knowledge fits their fancy. Sometimes, one may even find a Mithril Dragonkin out in the world, testing some theory they have stumbled upon in their research.
Above all, these people believe in service. The Council of Metallic Dragons has proven that they can make a difference, no matter how small, no matter where. Metallic Dragonkin follow in the footsteps of their ancestors, each in a different way. Mithril Dragonkin pursue knowledge, dedicating their time to becoming experts in specific fields so that they can pass on this knowledge to others. Becoming Scholars, Mages, teachers, and Librarians is often the dream of these people, as that is the best way to pass on all that they have learned.

All Dragonkin inherit sharp claws, extremely strong and protective scales, as well as a breath weapon that they can use. Some of these traits are affected by the color of the Dragonkin, as the many varieties of Dragons also vary greatly in their abilities. Mithril Dragonkin often have extremely heightened senses, to the point where they may be accused of having foresight like their Draconic ancestors.

Additional Information
Social Structure
Their area of the Fearsome Maw is considered the quietest and most structured, as there are often dedicated times where silent hours are observed in order to help with the pursuit of knowledge. Those who do not wish to partake often wander to other districts, joining in the festivities of other Dragonkin. Because of their knowledge, these people often will serve as Scholars, Mages, teachers, Librarians, and in many other academic professions that allow them to share what they have learned. While gaining knowledge is often the main goal, sharing it with others is seen as a noble pursuit. In that pursuit, these people rarely ever live in complete solitude.

I think I could live quite happily as a mythril dragonkin, tucking myself in an archive somewhere. :)
