Grave Caller
140% Empowerment
An air of dread follows these individuals, as they have once been touched by death, and are forever intertwined with the grim nature of their world filled with corpses. The Spirit of Death is infamous for caring very little for the world of the living, however, at times, they come upon a living soul, whose life is tied to death, either through obsession or circumstance, and grant them a blessing in return for giving the dead the respect they deserve. Through this the Grave Caller is able to summon forth the dead to destroy those who dare oppose a servant of death itself, or to simply converse with the dead and understand any regrets they may have had before their passing.
Beyond the Grave ⦿
The Grave Caller can infuse Death energy and the resentment of the dead into recovered remains in order to produce devastating magical abilities. The Grave Caller can utilize bones of the dead and manifest abilities based on the bone in question with their Magical Power. For Example, a few splinters of bones could be used as a hail of bone spikes, or a hand can be used to conjure a massive boned hand to crush their opponent. It should be noted, that this can be used infinitely, but each usage of a spell requires the destruction of a bone as a component. Furthermore, the power of this ability is amplified depending on the power of the original creature, a regular human would have decent power, but the bones of a dragon would be utterly devastating to practically any opponent.
Grim Companion ⊕
The solemn service of death is not one most easily associate with, but for those who do, they may find themselves able to continue their friendship even beyond their mortal coil. Should the Grave Caller receive consent from an ally, they may bring them forth from the grave after their death. There are still some rules to this reanimation, such as the Grave Caller only being able to reanimate an ally whose event points are equal to or less than 6 times the Grave Caller's Magical power and only being able to have a single Grim Companion. For example. at 15 Magical power, a Grave Caller can reanimate a Grim Companion with 90 event points or less. Additionally, should the Grim Companion be destroyed, they will slowly reform themselves over the course of a week, however, if they are destroyed 3 times, they will no longer reform and their soul will pass to the realm of death. After reanimating a Grim Companion, every time the Grave Caller gains a point of magical power, their Grim Companion gains 2 event points. Lastly, it should be noted that the corpse has its intelligence and will intact, while most will follow the orders of the Grim Caller, they could ignore their orders should they decide to for whatever reason.
Borrowed Soul ⊕
Even upon one's death, the soul remembers where it was lain to rest, from which a Grave Caller can plea with the Spirit of Death, to allow them to converse with the soul that has passed to the realm of the dead. The Grave Caller can use this ability near a grave, corpse, or where ashes were spread, in order to converse with the deceased. The duration is based on their soul, with the Soul of the dead remaining for a number of turns equal to half the caster's soul, each turn the Soul of the dead can answer two questions. Once the duration ends, the soul returns to the realm of the dead, they can not be called upon until a full month passes.
Forced Servitude ᛝ
Resonating with the Spirit of Death, the Grave Caller refuses an opponent the passing of their soul to the realm of death, and forcibly reanimates them into their own service. Upon burning a fate point the Grave Caller can reanimate an opponent who has been felled within the last 10 minutes. Otherwise, this ability is functionally identically to Grim Companion, including the Event point limitation of who can be reanimated, however, a Grave caller can have multiple reanimated corpses atop their Grim Companion using this ability.
▣ - If a grave caller ever purposefully desecrates a corpse or grave without the permission of the dead they lose all their abilities for a full year. An exception to this is desecrating the corpse (but not the grave) of an individual who had threatened the life of the Grave Caller.
