Thyren Velkaarin, commonly known as the Hunter, is a low-born Thauzunian headhunter, weaponsmith, mechanic, tactician, sharpshooter, and tracker. Operating far outside the authority of major syndicates, Velkaarin has built a reputation across Thauzuno for his relentless pursuit of bounty contracts. Once contracted, he tracks his "prey" without pause, often across multiple cities or the wasteland, until that target is killed. His methods are methodical, patient, and utterly ruthless, and he is known to eliminate anyone who interferes with the completion of a contract.
Among mercenary circles, Velkaarin is considered less a man and more a force of inevitability. Several syndicates have attempted to recruit him, while others have dispatched kill teams in an effort to remove him before he could threaten their interests. None have succeeded. Every team sent after him has disappeared without a trace, leaving only rumors and the quiet understanding that hunting the Hunter rarely ends well.
