Unseen Servant

Unseen Servant is an arcane spell known in Bardic and Wizarding circles, which allows the caster to summon an invisible and semi-ethereal automaton that can perform basic labor. While this automaton is not particularly strong and struggles with any task dependent on acute force, it is tireless and excels at repetition. Tasks like cleaning, sewing, laundering, folding, moving items, or lighting lanterns are all tasks well accomplished by an Unseen Servant. Some mages or elites like using these automatons for table service as well, to bring food and pour drinks.
Unseen Servants last for an hour and cannot stray 60 feet from the caster (unless they are instead bound to the point of their creation, in which case they cannot stray from there). The caster can issue mental commands to the Servant as a bonus action. This spell is a ritual, meaning that it can be performed with little-to-no magical energy if the caster has ten minutes to carefully articulate the spell.
Unseen Servants are perhaps most visible in their effects on elite fashion. The magical consistency and ethereal dexterity of the automatons makes them very effective sewing machines, able to work fare faster and more consistently than humanoids hands. This gives garments stitched by them a very neat and tidy look quite unlike the hand-stitched textiles used everywhere else. Since surplus magic or magic items are extremely rare, this kind of "machine" sewing is quite a flex. Some cultures may feel differently, of course.
Given its utility in elite settings, areas that have a lot of arcane magic will have much more common knowledge that this spell exists.
