Klifspan
Klifspans descend from the folk who farmed the huge plateau between the Frostbourne Straight and Coldfathom Lake. The natural altitude and treacherous ascent to this ancestral home provided protection and isolation from the events of other lands. As a result, Klifspan culture barely changed throughout the centuries until the Age of Unknowing, when desperate Corrmlandter, Galdoran, and Cirrish expeditions courted or attempted to seize this strategic breadbasket. Finally, Corrmlandter and Klifspan leaders united their regions to form the Corrmlandt Provinces.
Physically, Klifspans tend to be on the taller side for humans, with strong features, sensitive skin, and light brown, sandy, or dirty blonde hair. Their eyes are bright and cool, with sky blue, cloud grey, and milky silver the most prevalent colors. Though generally soft-spoken and considered in conversation, Klifspans are widely known for the incredible volume with which they are capable of shouting and singing.
Klispan fashion is fairly modest, with dark shades of grey, green, blue, and brown most common. Bright colors and metals are used only for ornamentation. As the Klispan plateau is very high altitude, men and women commonly wear long, hooded cassocks lined with furs in colder months.
