Cirrish
Hailing from the peninsula that bears their name, the Cirrish people are in fact a melding of many ancient cultures and ethnicities that mingled and multiplied over many centuries. Though recent history would suggest otherwise, many records exist of a disproportionately large percentage of mageborn stemming from Cirrish stock. Indeed, codices from Old Renjus frequently refer to the "Magi of the Hills of Cir," even claiming they trained some of the Imperium's mageborn. This has obviously changed drastically in recent centuries.
The Cirrish have skin that ranges from a tanned leather to pale ochre. Eyes tend toward cool, lighter colors, with various shades of grey, green, and blue, though lighter browns are not unheard of. Hair colors range from medium brown to frost blonde, though a deep black is not unheard of. Cirrish fashions favor simplicity and functionality. The chief indication of fashionable wealth is the quality of materials used in an article's construction, not ornate embellishment. Men generally sport cropped beards and long hair, while women wear their hair up or tied back. Ostentatious opulence is frowned upon. Soldiers wear crisp, blue uniforms ("Crabshells").
