Burntlands

A sprawling expanse of once-beautiful landscape, now ravaged by years of war, the Burntlands are a testament to the cruelty and efficiency of the Dragon Emperors. Once the last holdout of free Andar before the Days of Chains, the Burntlands have now been reduced to little more than a thin layer of ash strewn across a desolate, wind-swept hellscape.
The Burntlands once bordered several powerful dragonborn kingdoms. Now, it is a dangerous frontier along the Alvera's Bitter Hills. The Burntlands are the entire setting of the West Marches campaign.
