Scene 1: Death of a Dealbreaker (Cold Open)

1. The Dealbreakers vs. a Vinemonger (fey-plant monster, Treant-Shambling Mound hybrid)
2. Nyrus (debut) assassinates The Dealbreakers
3. Nyrus collects his reward for the kills & accepts his next target: Viko
4. Title Card: Gaion

Scene 2: Champion of the Savenci Coliseum

1. In the pit of the Savenci Coliseum, Viko (debut) fights off several humanoid foes with supreme physical power. Playing it up for the crowd, he is then presented with his true challenge: a Sand Giant (giant-elemental monster, Galeb Dur variant). Through this battle, he shows off his true combat power: war magic & the Rouzhai Gaioforce. He eventually gets the killing blow after superheating the Sand Giant’s head & chest into glass, then dropping down with a powerful two-handed strike from his Rouzhai Morningstar.
2. Kiara (debut) observes from the crowd, while Nyrus observes deep from the rafters above the coliseum. Both vigorously study his fighting style & techniques, but for vastly different reasons.

Scene 3

1. Kiara approaches Viko after the battle, complementing his skills & attempting to recruit him for a clandestine mission into the disappearance of powerful mages in Grettania, including her former master from the Warian Collective. Viko flirts with her & is shut down, but while he is not openly hostile or disrespectful, he declines to join her mission. She highlights how unsafe someone of his power is from a growing authoritarian regime, but he dismisses her concerns and arrogantly believes that he can handle any threat the Grettanian government throws his way.
2. As Viko & Kiara part ways, Nyrus watches from the shadowed corners of a nearby rooftop, beginning to tail Viko. Unbeknownst to either party, Kiara casts a psionic tracer spell on Viko, which will alert her if anything happens to him.

Scene 4: Viko Alone

1. Viko drinks alone in a tavern a few blocks from the coliseum, having specials with this and many other places in the area due to his champion status. As if like clockwork, some tough guy in the bar attempts to prove that outside the ring, Viko isn’t a “real fighter”. Viko invites him & anyone else in the bar to prove that point, leading to a tavern brawl that incapacitated every man foolish enough to try.
2. Leaving the bar after paying his tab + a generous tip for the violence, Viko stumbles through the lower Danarim streets to his sky-rise apartment by the coliseum,; his go-to strategy to invite no-gooders to challenge him. Unbeknownst to him, he would receive a true challenge tonight, as Nyrus, perched on a dark rooftop several hundred feet away, conjures a longbow & arrow out of wind & lightning, drawing & releasing it to an explosive connection with his target.

Scene 5: Battle in the Savenci Streets

1. As the electrical/thunderous explosion debris clears, we see Viko unharmed, having braced the explosion with his dark metal Rouzhai Shield while sliding several feet backwards in his stance. He uses the force of this push to charge up thermal energy from his feet, channel it up his body and into his arm for a focused blast of flame towards his suspected target. Nyrus dodges from this rooftop, surprised of his ability to tell where he was immediately.
