Earth has shattered.
After the Pandemic, as it is now called -- no one can remember the name -- began, it never ended. Those who were alive during the pre-apocalypse days are long dead, and the current generations are left with something hopeless. Something terrifying.
The Quarantine is everlasting. What the people are being quarantined from is unknown. But more than any disease or catastrophe, they are bound to solitude by their own fear.
It was never supposed to get this far.
