Fatuous Artifice

A world long forgotten, but not due to the consequences of time, Traeyphis seems to be separated from the rest of the worlds. The unruly wilds beyond the gates of the few cities left standing, contain secrets that even the most knowledgeable of adventurers are not privy to. Unbeknownst to most, a powerful force has been pulling the strings behind all the remaining major powers over the course of the last century. Opinions of all seem to be lacking and everyone seems to be just a little too content with the world, even as their neighbors go missing every day. However, a few inquisitive minds remain and may just be able to find an answer to the questions no one has even been willing to ask.
