Vesryn Quickfeather
Vesryn Quickfeather was a mysterious bard who followed The Outlanders and played songs at The Lucky Bear and The Golden Hive inns they stayed at to charm them. From these charms came induced dreams which he was able to guide and observe. From these, he has learned of the existence and possible direction of the dragon and had tracked the Outlanders to Fael'wynn.
Using the isolation and suffocating mists of Mirrorglade Lake he orchestrated an ambush on the Outlanders on their way to Spirewatch.
With his Void-infused magic, he summoned tendrils of shadow and Nekhrin raiders to attack the crew and outlanders, seeking to claim the golden dragon scale in Vaas's possession.
Despite his formidable abilities, Vesryn underestimated the party’s resolve. In a fierce and chaotic battle, he fell before he could escape with the scale. Durok K'saar, the Mistweaver's helmsman, struck the final blow, and Boarm ensured Vesryn’s end was absolute by decapitating him, leaving no chance for the bard to rise again. His defeat marked a significant victory for the party but left lingering questions about the greater threat that Vesryn served.
