Settlers Day
On this day the people of Soliemia celebrate the land that is their home, as well as the peace and unity between Dragons and Humanoids. The holiday also marks the date when The Scale Guard was founded, in 1242 AF.
The people celebrate Settlers Day through festival, which is celebrated differently in every settlement across the continent, usually with a fare. During the festival the people thank and honour the Dragon Lords of Soliemia for allowing the mortal people to settle in their lands. The people also thank The Scale Guard for their protection, with many city leaders publicly granting donations to the organisation as thanks for their work.
Settlers Day also marks the date, every decade, when new recruits are inducted into The Scale Guard, ready to begin their training to protect the continent and potentially become Dragon Riders.
