Dregu town
This city embodies everything that is said of the Segaii (and the Bugits) at their worst.
Chaos, filth, crumbling buildings, lurking figures in every shadow. Here, anyone is willing to sell anything you can name. Everything has a price — including your life.
TEMPLE DISTRICT
Chieftain’s House
The largest palace in the city, aided by the fact that it stands atop a raised hill. Within its high walls lies a degree of elegance rarely found elsewhere in the city. Grogmar earned his position through cunning rather than strength and clings to it by any means necessary. Those means include assassins, informants, blackmail, and poison.
Temple of Vangrakath
Shaman Bashuk does everything in his power to maintain at least some form of order within the faith, but this is no easy task when the religion itself thrives on chaos. The Fox is tolerated only because he is the litter-brother of Bumph, Grogmar’s First Mate.
Arena
The favored gathering place of the Ergoth hunters. Wild beasts, prisoners, and slaves are commonly pitted against one another here. Personal disputes and grievances are also settled according to “the law of Vangrakath.”
Shrine of the Eternal Flame
A small structure of black stone containing only two chambers. The first is a shrine centered around a black altar stone. The second serves as the residence of the priestess Larexa, a shapeshifted succubus. Grogmar frequently invites her to his side — one can never have too many gods smiling upon them.
WEALTHY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT
Red Moon Inn
Owner: Halne, an elderly and superstitious Fox-segai. He pays protection money to Grogmar, ensuring that the chieftain’s retinue leaves the establishment undisturbed.
Palace of Golden Fur
A large manor currently owned by Grogmar’s mother.
Rusty Foxhole
Brothel. Workers: Silra, red-furred, mature fox-woman; Vexi, painted claws, heavily made-up domina; Nira, voluptuous and openly lustful; Lure, silver-furred with blue eyes, who vehemently denies being a half-blood; Teru, a young girl who enjoys entertaining guests in costumes. Madame Vullen once worked in a Zililonian brothel until her owner freed her. She brought her trade home and opened her own house, much to the city’s delight.
Wind-Worn Burrow
A large stone building that serves as the home of young hunters.
MARKET
Slave Market
Rae’s Caravan
A brightly colored tent guarded by grim-looking enforcers. Rare and exotic goods acquired through trade, barter, or theft from other caravans.
Sut’s Shop
Dealer in “used” goods. Sut is a nervous figure missing one ear, while constantly twitching the other. Not that there is any law enforcement in the city to be concerned about.
Aroma Vault
Apothecary. Owner: Surla, a snow-white Fox-segai. Beneath the counter lies an ample supply of poisons. She currently seeks a specific plant rumored to grow in the jungle.
POOR HOUSING
Graveyard
The Eared Cup
Tavern. Owner: Redric, a large and imposing Fox-segai. He despises outsiders, claiming they “tainted his bloodline.” Coincidentally, his daughter works at the Rusty Foxhole.
Warehouses
Torn Tail
A modest inn. Owner: Vela. His own tail is intact, but his grandfather lost his during a youthful brawl — hence the name.
The Roofer
Workshop of stonemasons and carpenters.
SLUMS
Flea Market
General goods stall. Owner: Tik, who claims to know everyone in the city and to be able to acquire anything. Somehow, he always does.
Smolder
Tobacco shop.
Inside-Out Fur
Bar and meeting place for Grogmar’s bootlickers.
Kormányzás
Grogmar Ergoth chieftain
