Daywalker Class
5.5E & 5E Class
You are a Daywalker, a creature awakened to a hunger that only the blood of the living can sate. Unlike true vampires, something in your rebirth failed, or perhaps succeeded. The curse took hold but never fully claimed you. You do not burn in the sun, nor are you shackled by many of the traditional weaknesses that plague vampires. Yet you also lack the overwhelming immortality and supernatural dominance of a true vampire lord. You exist between life and undeath, balancing restraint against instinct as the constant temptation to feed gnaws at your mind.
Some Daywalkers have learned to dwell among mortals and preserve fragments of their former lives. Others embrace the predator they have become, stalking the night in search of prey or serving ancient vampire masters as agents who can walk freely beneath the sun. Regardless of the path you choose, blood is power, and wasting your dark gifts would be a shame.
The Daywalker is a class designed around aggressive melee combat, life stealing, blood fueled abilities, and deciding when to unleash the full power of your vampiric gifts through Blood Rite.Bloodthirst. Your signature feeding attack. Bloodthirst allows you to drain vitality from enemies to sustain yourself in combat, and it serves as the primary way you activate your Blood Rite. Managing your limited uses of Bloodthirst and choosing the right moment to feed is central to mastering the Daywalker class. Blood Points and Sanguine Techniques. Blood Points fuel a wide variety of vampiric powers called Sanguine Techniques, ranging from transformation, manipulation, and defensive abilities. Choosing Sanguine Techniques that complement one another is a major part of building a Daywalker, allowing you to specialize your vampiric fantasy.
