Lich Keepers

What is the rank given to those who work with the dead, or serve as killers for the leadership of your world?

Lich Keepers are liches that guard highest honored dead in sky whale temples that serve their chosen god or entity of the dead. They also tend to the temple to make sure it doesn't decay to the point of ruin.

They are half dead monks that live extended amounts of time, if not forever as long as they serve and honor their role

• protecting the husked corpse of the Sky Whale Temple of the dead
• Meditation and Prayer

Benefits

Semi immortality and getting to serve and work with entities and divines in the flesh.

Because they are half dead they have no need to eat, drink, use the bathroom, or even sleep.

Grounds for Removal/Dismissal

As they are monks they don't usually get dismissed due to devotion. Normally, if they break the oath or tenants they are usually killed to protect their secrets of their divine, however there are cases historically the reasons for wrath from The Lich directly are,

• Disrespecting him or his fellow enities
• desecration of high ranking dead such as royalty or bodies of divines human lives
• Necromancy must be practiced with care and only during religious ceremonies
