Session 11 Report
General Summary
"Hey Ryan,
I'm leaving this letter because something happened and I'm gonna need to be away from you for a bit. Stay in the room and order as much room service as you want. I'll be back each night to check on you, but I've got some work to do. I met this group of adventurers in the arcade after you left. They made me realize something is very wrong with our bright and shiny home. While we walked, they informed me of what they've been doing. Earlier today, they visited that weird fortune teller who I'm pretty sure uses magic to force people to trip on their way out, despite telling them to watch their footing. I think he does it as some kind of 'I told you so' intimidation tactic. He always struck me as weird. Then they went to the armory. Y'know, that place with the magidrone guards? The place nobody is supposed to go into? YEA, THEY TRIED TO GO IN THERE. They showed me this little creature disguised as a ring that they sent in there to snoop around. These guys are awesome! They found a bunch of the casino guests' weapons, armor and supplies, along with some strangely marked crates from a group called The Navy. Apparently they are bad guys on the outside. The crates were full of these powerful gems that they said have crazy and somewhat uncontrollable effects, some with the power to cave in entire mountains. To think they store hundreds of these things in the same building we've grown up in our entire lives. CRAZY! Then they went to Zumba and did some stretches in preparation for the pool. There they met some important people named Mayor Chanel and Stain Pitt. The next day, they have Mayor Chanel meet them at the Surge. That awesome room that you always say is too loud. I mean, its nothing like the live music at the Contagion (after all, Red Dusk IS my favorite band), but I like the energy. If only I knew what to do with my arms. They reunited Mayor Chanel with some guy named James Pond. They said he's like a secret agent, like the ones Katya always talks about. They also sent a message to one of their friends on the outside. ISNT THAT AWESOME? They have a whole ship waiting for them outside! I've never been friends with somebody who has a ship all to themselves before. Mina is nice, but she just works on the ship, it isn't hers. Anyway, the real action happened when they went to do a job for those detective drones on the fifth floor. They discovered the body of a wiped magidrone along with a stolen shard of that gem I mentioned earlier. They met up with your friend Clay Steel! He tipped them off of something happening at the front desk. They head there and discover magidrone workers heading through a secret elevator to an area below the building. APPARENTLY THIS CASINO IS ON A BOAT?!?!?!?!?! RYAN ITS ON A BOAT! WE ARE FLOATING ON THE WATER! They discovered that those people called the Navy pay the casino in those gems. What they pay them for? I don't know yet, but it sounds nefarious. Afterward, they went to the arcade and met us, and you know what happened from there. Now we are trying to figure out what to do next.
