You conjure a blade of pure negative energy in your empty hand and make one Melee Weapon Attack or Melee Spell Attack against a creature within your reach, attempting to sever the link to its head. On a hit, it takes Negative Energy damage equal to 6d8 + your Spellcasting Modifier.
If this damage reduces the creature to 50 Hit Points or fewer, you instantly cut off life functions of one of its heads of your choice.
The creature dies if it cannot survive without the lost head. The creature's head is not removed if it is Immune to Negative Energy damage or if it doesn't have or need a head.
